Opportunity for free digital training in Psychological First Aid aimed at frontline and essential workers including volunteers. The course aims to increase awareness and confidence to provide psychosocial support to people affected by coronavirus. The FREE training, launched by Public Health England, takes around 90 minutes to complete and requires no previous qualifications. It is available in three sessions for the learner to complete at their own pace. The core topics are: what psychological first aid is; how emergencies impact mental health; the stages of psychological first aid; supporting yourself and your colleagues; and example scenarios.
