Details of Position | ICT share an office with Community Action Bradford & District (CABAD) in Riddings Road, Ilkley. A Transport Coordinator manages the activities but help is always needed with the everyday office tasks which include taking bookings and lift requests, ringing round for drivers and escorts and handling telephone enquiries. |
Description of your Organisation | ICT is a local charity providing three minibuses for hire to community groups in the LS29 area. A pool of trained Midas (Minibus Drivers' Awareness Scheme) volunteer drivers support the hiring groups. Training is provided free of charge. The charity also provides car lifts to residents who have difficulty in accessing medical appointments. Lifts are provided by volunteer drivers using their own cars. Whilst lifts are free, a donation is requested to support the charity. |
