Could you give an hour for voluntary power?

A new Citizen Coin scheme has been launched in Bradford District supported by Bradford for Everyone. The scheme rewards residents from across the district for doing things to help and support others by volunteering or getting involved in civic duties to make Bradford and District a better place for everyone.

Volunteers can register with the site and receive digital coins to get started. The coins can be exchanged for discounts on goods and services at selected stores. Those earning coins can choose to gift them to other people or organisations.

If you are an organisation with volunteer roles, you can register with the site to promote your role with digital coins offered to new or existing volunteers. It’s a great way to attract new volunteers.

The scheme is in its very early days, so it needs more roles to attract more volunteers to attract more companies with offers to exchange for coins.

For further information visit Bradford Coin. This short film explains more about the scheme.
